MICHAEL D. VENA, P.E., P.P., C.M.E. (1953-2006)

Mr. Vena joined Remington & Vernick Engineers in 1985. Until the end of 1988, he served as the Department Head for General Engineering and Planning. He was responsible for reports, designs, plans, and specifications for a wide-range of municipal engineering projects. Mr. Vena also performed numerous Infiltration/Inflow studies and supervised the rehabilitation projects that resulted. Over the years, Mr. Vena has served as Municipal/MUA Engineer to a number of municipalities in the Middlesex/Ocean/Monmouth County region. In January of 1989, Mr. Vena was appointed to direct the regional offices located in Toms River and Old Bridge. As of January 1994, these offices became Remington, Vernick & Vena Engineers, an affiliate of Remington & Vernick Engineers. Mr. Vena continued to oversee the complete management and operation of the offices and their staffs of more than 30 professionals until his passing in 2006.
